The National Museum of the U.S. Navy collects, preserves, displays, and interprets historic naval artifacts and artwork to inform, educate, and inspire naval personnel and the general public. Ample parking is available in front of the National Museum of the U.S. Navy. All white spaces are available for visitors. The National Museum of the U.S. Navy is accessible by both the Navy Yard (green) and Eastern Market (blue and orange) metro stations.

Steeped in history, rich with tradition, the United States Botanic Garden (USBG) is one of the oldest botanical gardens in North America. The Garden highlights the diversity of plants worldwide, as well as their aesthetic, cultural, economic, therapeutic, and ecological significance.
